The 20th century began on January 1, 1901 and ended on December 31, 2000. These years, of Modern History of Europe with the development of nationalism began the desire of the masses for national grandeur and overseas expansion. Belle Epoque (French: Belle Époque, "Beautiful Era") European period from 1871 until the beginning of the First World War in 1914 made the liberals and the left itself to be optimistic about the future. But the great powers of Europe have begun a race to strengthen and modernize their armed forces, to build friends, allies and two major alliances ... ... World War II emerged from the power of Nazi populism, in Germany, who promised a manor and an empire that would last for 1,000 years. It ended up bleeding all over the Earth, focusing on Europe and losing 55.5 million people. The Cold War begins. Europe will dig in its past, it will honor its values, bliss and convenience will be accessible to the average and simple people! The tendencies of Modernism, Bitlomania, urbanism, a humanism with extreme tolerance will develop. The Utopia of United Europe will begin with an idea written on a cigarette paper in June 1941 by Mussolini prisoners Altiero Spinelli and Ernesto Rossi, known as the "Manifesto Ventotene". On this cigarette paper was written the manifest, "It was necessary to oppose supranationally and federally, between capitalism, communism and socialism, making it possible for the mistakes of these models to come to a real and non-theoretical democracy that brings peace and European cohesion ". After the war, in a cocktail of bliss and political theater, democracy will be rushed and lost with infertility. Today more than any other time Europe is faced the worse enemy, paying itself with spiritual and economic crisis, with the first line of victims in Greece and in Southern Europe. This new - Middle Ages, brings Europe to the displacement of nations, to minimize of the value our history, customs, morality and promotion of fear. We need to live with the beauty of diversity, the friendship, the management of our HOUSE, the FILOXENIA, our qualities, those that inspire the creation and thoughts of the works of my Europe- Europe! Exhibition. Every work of this collection is a country where I composed with Photoshop technique. I use known symbols of each the country with a quote or proverb in each art work. Our Europe who has an ancient Greek name and history now seems to have the bad signs of "globalization" without hope of friendship relations. My visual art collection first was presented in Berlin in 2017 in a Mainstain café. The second exhibition was held in Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation in Athens and I a dream to expose it to all countries of Europe.
